Thrummed Mittens

Ready to try something new this year? Thrumming is a technique where small bits of wool are pulled through fabric to create a warm, cozy inner layer, perfect for mittens! In this class you will learn how to make thrums and how to work them into a simple mitten pattern. 

Instructor: Mariah, certified knitting instructor

Prerequisites: knitting in the round, casting on and off

Homework: Come to class with the 3" mitten cuff already knitted. 

Materials: 100g of worsted weight yarn, 50g of wool roving, US6 (4mm) needle for small circumference knitting, and the pattern, which can be purchased here or in store.
