Fix it or Frog It?

Many of us struggle with when to make this decision. Do we continue on with a project we do not like? Do we continue on when there is an error that is really bothering us? It seems like the garment won’t fit, what should we do?
The first answer is there is no right answer. Every project will have a different “right” decision, and the “right” decision is the one you make. My mother was plagued with the idea that she would always make the wrong decision. Guess what? She often times did make the “wrong” decision because she didn’t trust herself or she didn’t make the decision she made the “right” one. Pictured is the Love Note Sweater where I got lazy and didn't check the pattern. I forgot to change to a size 10 needle and knit the whole sweater in a 7! Guess what. I love it and wear it all the time. So glad I didn't rip it out when I discovered the mistake.
And in living, often, it is with crafting. Be bold and make a decision and move forward. There are so many things to make. Don’t let your past mistakes impede your future progress.
